Correx signs
Correx is the lightest and the cheapest rigid sign material, but it is still weatherproof and suitable for temporary outdoor use.
Correx is most commonly used for estate agent "for sale" and "to let" signs. It can also be used for all kinds of indoor and temporary outdoor signage such as building site boards, event graphics, temporary road signs and advertising.
Correx is a popular material for signage because it's cost-effective and extremely lightweight with a very good strength to weight ratio.
Foamex signs
Foamex is stronger than correx with a flatter surface. It is hardwearing and weatherproof for indoor and medium term outdoor use. Foamex is available in four different thicknesses: 1mm, 3mm, 5mm (our most popular) and 10mm. The 1mm, 3mm and 5mm thicknesses are light for their size but the 10mm thickness is heavy for its size.
Foamex is most commonly used for outdoor signage and exhibition display panels but it can also be used for indoor signs, event signs and advertising panels.
Foamex is a very popular signage material as it offers a great compromise between strength and price.
Aluminium dibond signs
Aluminium dibond is the strongest of the sign materials but is still lightweight. Aluminium dibond has two aluminium sheets sandwiching a polyethylene core giving it the highest strength to weight ratio.
Aluminium dibond is most commonly used for premium quality outdoor signage and is particularly suitable for locations that experience strong winds. Aluminium dibond is available with a white background or a brushed silver background.
Aluminium dibond is popular for businesses needing permanent outdoor signage or anyone that wants the best possible material for their rigid signs.
