Foamex Signs (Rigid PVC Signs)

Full colour, digitally printed foamex signs. Foamex is a hardwearing, weatherproof rigid sign material that is low cost and available in multiple thicknesses.

Foamex is stronger than correx with a flatter surface. It is hardwearing and weatherproof for indoor and medium term outdoor use. Despite having "foam" in the name, a foamex sign is effectively a solid plastic sign. Foamex signs are also known as rigid PVC signs, compressed foam signs, foam PVC signs, foamalite signs, foam board PVC signs and forex signs.

Foamex is available in four different thicknesses:

• 1mm - Recommended for signs fixed directly to a solid surface (popular for safety signs)
  
• 3mm - Recommended for indoor use unless fixed directly to a solid surface
• 5mm - Our most popular foamex thickness - the best value / strength / weight combination
• 10mm - For jobs where a thick material is desirable and weight isn't a problem

The 1mm, 3mm and 5mm thicknesses are light for their size but the 10mm thickness is quite heavy for its size. If 10mm is too thick or too heavy, but you need something extra strong, try our aluminium dibond signs.

Foamex is most commonly used for outdoor signage and exhibition display panels but it can also be used for indoor signs, event signs, safety signs and advertising panels.

Foamex is a very popular signage material as it offers a great compromise between strength and price.

Printing
We digitally print using a high resolution 4 colour (CMYK) process to print all logos, text and background colours onto our products.

Pantone® Colours
If Pantone® colours are used in your design we will use the CMYK Pantone® matching system to print your graphics using CMYK inks. Please note: There are many Pantone® colours that cannot be accurately matched using CMYK colours. If you use a Pantone® colour that cannot be matched it will be converted to the closest CMYK colour available. If printing on a vinyl other than white, the colour or effect of the vinyl may affect the final printed colour.
